NDFC Lifetime Members
The criteria for a player to become a Lifetime member is:
- outstanding achievement, either as a player and/or administrator, Provincially, Nationally or Internationally
- association with current member body for at least three years
- standing member of the NDFC for a minimum of ten years
- any other contributions that the Member Body feels are warranted

Each member body may nominate one person
Nominations to be submitted to the NDFC Membership Director by December 31st
 
The country is broken down into three areas:
Area #1 – British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Yukon
Area #2 – Northern Ontario, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Northwest
Area #3 – Nova Scotia, Newfoundland/Labrador, Prince Edward Island and Nunavut
 
The NDFC Executive may put forth a person who is not being nominated by their Member Body but whom the Executive feel is deserving of such recognition
 
The NDFC Executive will review all application and may select one from each area
